About this larp
Junction Zero is a plot-heavy larp. The plot is not primarily there to be won or solved, but to create play for yourself and others.
The focus on this larp is plots, relations, and entanglements. The style is light-hearted, like in the original series. Dare to be silly. Dare to be optimistic in the face of ridiculous odds.
Firefly and Serenity Chinese
If someone comes up to you ans say the phrase "Ching zie lie ee bay Ng-Ka-Pei?" they actually mean
"Can I have one more glass of Ng-Ka-Pei , please?"
Of course; Ng-Ka-Pei is a medicinal-herb wine widely known for immediately boosting your constitution.
Roles and groups
Roles
Anything that has happened on any Firefly larp in Norway the last years might have happened, and can be played on. We might use every bit of information you give us without being too finicky on exactly where and when (and even who). This means roles from previous FF-larps might be welcome.
No, you can not play one of the Hands of Blue.
No, not the Operative either.
Groups available
The Patients
A few chosen who get to assist the Alliance. And who knows, maybe save the entire 'Verse.
The staff
Janitors, nurses, wardens, doctors… Not much to say about them, but they have an agenda.
Visitors
Comes in different colors. Some are blue, some brown.
Neighbors
Even a seemingly well hidden place like junction Zero has neighbors. There be cows!
Artists
Attending the conference with the sole purpose of winning the karaoke competition.
Practical
Junction Zero takes place from August 8th to August 11th 2019, at Kvalvågnes, Norway. You can get there by car.
The price is NOK 900,-. There are a few subsidised spots.
We will be open for other solutions if this is a life threatening problem. Or something else. Give a shout.

You have to be 16 years old to register for the entire larp. Shorter visits by younger, larp-competent, English-speaking players can be negotiated.
Register and pay by February 20th. No refund after May 1st.
The price includes three meals a day. This means you will have the opportunity to eat in relative peace - no full-on reaver attacks during mealtimes. The food is simple and nourishing. If you have special needs when it comes to food, bring your own. There might be space in the fridge for very special needs, but NOT for your afterlaiv beer.
We have room for 40 players. Sleeping is indoors, in beds.

It will be late summer, Bergen style. Bergen has as much annual rainfall as Vancouver and Seattle put together.
No alcohol or recreational drugs are allowed during the larp.
The afterlaiv only requires you to follow Norwegian law, so alcohol is allowed, while recreational drugs are still out.
